King Charles implements new Rules for the royal family following Prince Andrew’s scandal

King Charles is taking decisive action and implementing new rules for the royal family in response to recent scandals, particularly the spy scandal involving Prince Andrew. This decision marks a significant shift in the monarch’s approach to modernizing the monarchy.

Earlier this year, both King Charles and Prince William faced criticism over undisclosed earnings from public sector estates. While the story eventually faded from the headlines due to a successful royal publicity campaign, it revealed the need for greater transparency within the royal family.

Royal biographer Andrew Lownie predicts that 2025 will witness increased accountability and openness, especially concerning financial affairs. Lownie emphasized that transparency is necessary to regain public trust. He added that people expect more clarity not just about the royals’ financial dealings but also other aspects of their lives.

This renewed push for transparency comes at a time when public concern about the royal family’s reluctance to share information has been growing. Lownie suggested that, to restore respect and trust, the royal family must be more accountable in the future, especially financially.
