Pakistan’s rising star Shahzaib Rind secures the World Karate Combat Light Heavyweight Championship, defeating Brazil’s Luiz Victor Rocha.
Pakistan’s rising martial arts star, Shahzaib Rind, has brought home the prestigious Karate Combat Light Heavyweight Championship. Competing in Singapore, Rind, hailing from Balochistan, triumphed over Brazilian contender Luiz Victor Rocha in the highly anticipated KC-49 Championship. Known as “King Khan,” Rind’s victory adds to his growing list of international achievements and has placed Pakistan on the global martial arts map.
This remarkable win has been hailed as a significant milestone for Pakistan. High Commissioner to Singapore, Ms. Rabia Shafiq, congratulated Rind on his success, calling it a moment of national pride. In her message shared via social media, she expressed her admiration for Rind’s determination and encouraged the nation to stand behind him as he continues to climb the ranks of international martial arts.
Shahzaib Rind’s rise in the world of combat sports has been nothing short of extraordinary. Before his latest victory in Singapore, Rind had already claimed the title in the world’s top full-contact striking league, Karate Combat, in the United States. Additionally, with six national championships to his name, Rind has firmly established himself as a dominant force in martial arts.
Despite his numerous achievements, Rind’s ambitions are far from satisfied. In a recent interview, he stated, “My ultimate goal is to become a world champion, or at least be on the brink of achieving it.” His latest triumph in Singapore is a significant step towards that dream, as Rind continues to inspire and represent Pakistan on the international stage.
